My passion for Bollywood made me who I’m today ‘Naila Mughal’

** We are here today to talk to one of Bollywood talented  ** Naila Mughal ** who is one of the most connected to the Bollywood Film Industry.

Hi I’m Naila Mughal, born in Leeds in the Uk. My family is still based in Leeds and i live in London.  I’m Cineyug UK Events Manager,  a film Production Manager and Casting Director and owner of Naila Mughal 1stop4Bollywood.

I have been working in the bollywood film industry for a decade now as Cineyug UK Events Manager and have worked on many Events, World Tours and Award Nights.

Also I am a film Production Manager and Casting Director, I have a Company named Naila Mughal 1stop4Bollywood and have worked on many films, a few to name are I See you, Veer, Tezz, Ra.One and recently just finished working on Kunal Kohli Film T.M.K (working Title). I have my own Artistes Agency named Naila Mughal Artistes Agency and provide Talent to the Film Industry.

** What interest you in the entertainment biz?

When I was younger I was a big fan of Mithin Chakraborty, and he had invited me to one of his shows in London. We then became family friends and myself and Family used to go to see him often when he came to London to perform, and i started to enjoy the buzz and atmosphere around the entertainment world. I got my first project with Cineyug in 2002 on a project called 23 and a half days of Bollywood in Selfridges London, which i worked alongside my sisters, and then Moranis became family, and i have been with Cineyug since then. There is nothing like showbiz, its fun, exciting, buzzing, and although it can be long hours and hard work, working on films and shows, I still love it…

 

       

** What excites you about your job?

The great challenges i am given on projects and working with a great team on Events and Films. The most exciting feeling is when you have worked hard on a project and delivered the best results, this gives you a satisfying feeling..

 

** Who did you work with? and please talk a little about every experience and who was the best person you worked with?

My list is endless i have worked with so many actors, a few to name are are Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, John Abraham,Kareena Kapoor & Katrina Kaif. I have also worked with many film productions like Red Chillies, Vijay Galani Moviez, Utv,Eros and many more… I have had 10 years experience in this field, so to talk about every experience it would take alot of time, but i can tell you about one or two experiences.

I really enjoyed working on the Rockstars world Tour in 2006 which included Actors Salman Khan, John Abraham, Shahid Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Shrewart and Esha Deol. We did shows in America, Canada, UK and Europe and it was great experience touring and having great fun with the Actors and the Team. We used to hardly get any sleep and travelled alot from one destination to another touring show to show. It was my first experience in America, so was very exciting for me.. This was one of my best experiences and i definetely learnt alot from this tour.

 

Another good experience was working on Ra.one film with Shahrukh Khan, it was very different experience for me, as I am used to working on shows with Shahrukh, so working on his film was a different experience. He is such a great person to work with, and he motivates you and inspires you in such an amazing way, which is hard to describe in words… I had a fantastic experience working OnRa.one, a time i will never forget… Shahrukh has put alot of effort into this film and his hardwork will surely pay off.

The best person I have worked with.. hmmm thats a difficult one, i get on with almost everyone, and to name only one person would be unfair.. I have a great relationship with the stars, which is very important in the work I do.

 

   

 

** How was your experience with shahrukh khan?

I have had many experiences working with Shahrukh Khan, i really enjoying working with him, he is such a nice. He always praises me and is always supportive and caring towards me.. I always enjoy working with him from project to project, each experience with him is always amazing… I look foward to working with Shahrukh on many other projects ahead…

 

 

 

** What do you have to say about Shahrukh (as an actor/as a person)?

Shahrukh is a great Actor and he has worked really hard to reach where he is today..  He has a heart of gold and he is very humble… He is loved by many people in this world…  God bless him always..

 

** Are you involved only in the bollywood business ?

Mostly Bollywood, but i have worked on few British films like Madras Town, Coulda Woulda Shoulda and The Infidel? I also acted in Bad Girls Tv Series for 2 years and British Commercials.

 

** What’s you plans for future?

I  will continue to work on Bollywood films and Events as i have great passion in this field.

 Also I am now involved in launching The Bollywood Academy in London in October with my business partner Faraz Chohan who already has The Academy in Birmingham. Once students complete the Course, the students will be part of Naila Mughal Artistes Agency and will get a real life oppportunity to showcase their talent in Bollywood Films and shows after completing the course. The Bollywood Academy in London will be the most connected to the Bollywood Film Industry. Students from The Birmingham Bollywood Academy recently got to perform alongside Shahrukh Khan and Arjun Rampal in Holland and gained experience working on Tezz and Teri Meri Kahani Films.

 

** What do you expect from the entertainment biz?

I would like to thank the Entertainment biz for giving me great opportunities to work on projects and hope i continue to get great opportunities working in this field..

 

** What do you have to say about bollywood and the film industry?

The Bollywood film Industry is getting bigger and better and is now known all over the world..  The Bollywood Industry delivers the best entertainment all round.

 

** How do you see bollywood in the future and what’s the major changes you’ve notice since you’ve entered the entertainment biz?

The future looks even brighter for Bollywood. Hollywood’s special effects, are now been used in Bollywood Films. Also

big US film companies such as Warner Bros and Twentieth Century Fox are setting up offices in India. Bollywood technology is getting bigger and better and the future is bright..
